Responsibilities:
- Planning and designing fiber infrastructure to support the placement of servers, networking equipment, and storage devices in the Data Center.
- Creating blueprints for efficient data flow and accessibility.
- Knowledge about a company’s infrastructure needs, including power, cooling, location, and utilities.
- Ensuring designs comply with building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for the Data Center and supporting architectures.
- Conducting performance testing and tuning to ensure optimal delivery of product.
- Help customers with their AI data center journey, including workflow pipelines and performance optimization.
- Support sales activities for Data Centers with a focus on AI DC cluster/pod architecture, cable/patch panel design, cable management design, integration, and installation.
- Provide technical design expertise in partnership with Go!Foton service suppliers to ensure customer success.
- Providing expertise in infrastructure workflows, including hardware, workload orchestration, and application tuning.
- Understand different solutions trade-offs and propose enterprise customers the best architecture and technical execution.
The ideal candidate will be capable of addressing all the previously mentioned technologies, speak to them professionally, plan for the implementation of these solutions, document the finalized deployment, and hand-off to the client in collaboration with the sales team.
Requirements:
- An outstanding passion for innovating IT fiber infrastructure connectivity that optimizes DC and AI workloads.
- Expertise with infrastructure management including Ethernet networking, cloud-native tooling, and additional high-speed networking technologies and protocols.
- Understanding how software and hardware work together to optimize applications.
- 2+ years of meaningful work experience, ideally in an IT infrastructure or related field of expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- Ability to work independently with a remote team with minimal direction.
- Outstanding communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and an excellent teammate!
