Job Description
CACI is looking for a Joint Counter Unmanned Systems Modeling and Simulation Analyst for customer support in Tampa, FL.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Provide on-site analysis, operation and support of complex Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) simulation models.
- Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with C-UAS decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
- Collect and analyze C-UAS data and develop decision support software, service, or products.
- Participate in routine working group sessions to facilitate information exchange, peer review and vetting of products.
- Establish working relationships with analytical partners such as OSD-CAPE, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), CAA, Navy N81, Joint Staff (JS)-J8, etc. to extend CCJ8’s Modeling and Simulation Teams C-UAS analysis capabilities and expertise.
- Develop C-UAS study questions by implementing a process that properly identifies and defines issues and outlines study questions for development into study plans.
- Analyze and evaluate measures of effectiveness/measures of performance and C-UAS study implications based on data produced from the models.
- Implement a verification process that incorporates the proper framing of study questions, conduct research and coordination to capture data necessary to populate the models, and configure and program the model(s).
- Implement a validation process that analyzes model output by interacting with planning/operations subject matter experts.
- Assist USCENTCOM in crafting insights and conclusions produced from the simulations of these studies.
- Brief leadership on analytic insights.
- Conduct all tasks necessary to complete assigned projects within the time and quality standards established by the supported government military or civilian project manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have an active and transferrable DoD Top Secret security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
- Masters of Science Degree with documented coursework in operations research, industrial/systems engineering, systems analysis, or related field, or.
- Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience in modeling and simulation.
- Possess the ability to implement and apply familiarity with common qualitative and quantitative assessment tools and methodologies in the conduct of analysis projects.
- Experience interfacing with military staffs at the operational and strategic level.
- Experience working with modeling and simulation software; preferably Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) and Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM).
- Expert level skills with Microsoft Office Suite tools (SharePoint, Office, PowerPoint).

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is: $70,900 - $148,900.
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
