JOB SUMMARY:
This role reports to SVP, Property Marketing & Business Development. The Specialty Leasing & Marketing Manager is accountable for driving revenue through prospecting new income opportunities and securing license agreement renewals. This includes developing national and regional partnerships for advertising, sponsorships, and other activations portfolio wide. In addition, this role will assist in supporting property marketing as needed. This includes license agreements, agency management, and tenant communication.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support key existing relationships throughout the sales process.
- Research new sales opportunities.
- Assist in the development of proposals and presentations.
- Manage deals through all stages from calls, negotiation, fully executed agreements, set-up, and sales reporting management.
- Meet and/or exceed projected income goals.
- Maintain strong working relationships with venues and advertisers/sponsors.
- Collaborate with property management, leasing, and insurance on approvals.
- Manage donation bin contract management.
- Attend key venue/sponsor events as needed.
- Manage the production, installation, and removal of media assets.
- Traffic the artwork and paperwork (agreements, COI, etc.) for assigned clients.
- Gather proof of performance photos and compile POP reports as needed for advertisers/sponsors.
Other Reports and Duties:
- Follow up on existing vendor/leads.
- Build prospect list.
- Compile deal terms for agreements.
- Input license fee information, sales, etc. into Salesforce.
- Maintain recap and summary reports.
- Deliver timely and accurate data through completion of monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Monitor specialty agreement payments, including AR balances and collections.
- Assist with property marketing budgets.
- Assist with annual marketing plans.
- Manage contract status for renewals.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of shopping center specialty leasing experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills.
- Highly organized and tech-savvy (Instagram, Salesforce, etc.).
- Proven track record of supporting business development initiatives.
- Ability to work occasional weekends or evenings as events may require.
- 15% travel as needed, mostly local.
