To help raise awareness and build brand associations of Capital One's technology leadership, the Brand Tech Marketing team is seeking a senior Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to support our content and campaign teams with foundational strategies that will help us reach our technologist audience with compelling messages.
The Head of Brand Tech Product Marketing's charter is to be the go-to advisor for tech subject matter expertise and personas & messaging to help make our marketing campaigns and content more resonant with our technologist audience, which includes AI researchers, software engineers, SREs, and cybersecurity professionals. The Head of Brand Tech Product Marketing is a champion of Capital One's tech capabilities and is an expert on our tech stack, digital products, and tech strategies.
What you'll do
- Be a subject matter expert on key technology areas like AI & Data, Infrastructure & Operations, Software Development and Cybersecurity
- Develop a detailed understanding of Capital One's tech priorities as they relate to our technologist audience, and pair with your subject matter expertise to drive campaign and content strategies
- Independently identify internal materials and/or processes to continuously improve technical accuracy and audience understanding throughout the Brand Tech Marketing team's work
- Develop insights based on industry trends and translate those insights into actionable recommendations that promote business objectives and drive tangible results
- Define and manage persona & messaging guides for our technologist audience
- Work with various tech teams across product and marketing to surface compelling stories
- Be a coach and advisor to others, bridging knowledge gaps between technologists and marketers and vice-versa
- Establish partnerships across cross-functional teams.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience in a technology product marketing role
- At least 3 years of experience marketing to technologists
Preferred Qualifications
- 8 or more years of experience in a technology marketing role
- Experience marketing B2B enterprise technology products or services
- Experience in highly cross-functional and matrixed teams
- Startup experience
