Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Sales Director to lead our sales team at Constellis. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company growth and profitability targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, leadership, and a proven track record of successful revenue generation within the government or defense sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Manage and lead the sales team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and alliances.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the government and defense sector.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions to meet client needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support sales strategies and tactics.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, outlining key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products, services, and industry to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within the government or defense sector.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options. Salary starts at $180,000 - $205,000 annually.
