Black Owl Recruiting is sourcing a dedicated and skilled Endocrinologist for the team of a reputable client based out of New York, NY. The successful candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal conditions, and pituitary diseases. You will provide high-quality care across our Manhattan and Brooklyn locations and contribute to the overall health and well-being of our diverse patient base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of endocrine disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal insufficiency, and metabolic disorders.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including hormone assays and imaging studies.
- Provide patient education on endocrine health, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in endocrinology.
- Engage in on-call duties and emergency care as needed.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research when applicable.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Endocrinology.
- Valid New York State medical license.
- Proven experience in an endocrinology practice with a strong understanding of endocrine disorders and treatments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in a specific area of endocrinology (e.g., diabetes, thyroidology) is highly desirable.
- Experience with advanced endocrine diagnostic and treatment technologies.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, particularly in languages prevalent in our patient communities.
