Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Registrar, the Registration Specialist is expected to have an in-depth understanding of University registration, evaluation, and scheduling policy, procedure, regulations, and SIS modules and data maintenance associated with these functions. With peak period support from the Assistant Registrar, this Specialist manages many registration operations in the University Registrar, including but not limited to, the configuration of registration appointments, holds, course evaluations, class schedules, course catalogs, requisite maintenance, and exam schedules. The Registration Specialist maintains current knowledge of SIS updates and functionality and regularly reviews office policies and procedures to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely management of student records.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Education:Master’s degree
Required Experience:3+ years’ relevant experience in data maintenance/management and office operations in a college or university office (with Enrollment Management functions), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:Experience handling registration, scheduling or course evaluation functions.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:- Strong preference for proficiency in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and/or 25Live.
- Strong preference for proficiency in query and report writing.
- Ability to lead a team to facilitate procedural change.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of FERPA and higher education credentials best practice.
