We are looking for a Technical Sales Programs Leader to drive critical initiatives and projects in support of Solutions Engineering. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams, including Global Sales, Global Field Enablement, Customer Success & Experience, Go To Market Operations, and Products & Technology. You’ll be asked not just to lead and organize initiatives, but also apply your subject matter expertise and experience to drive decisions and actions on initiatives. As our Technical Sales Programs Leader, you will play a key role coordinating across teams to ensure the success of GTS initiatives and the achievement of targets contributing to the overall business. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive strategic planning and projects leveraging diverse technical expertise and an execution-oriented approach.
- Partner with Solutions Engineering leaders globally to deliver critical initiatives, evolving and advancing technical sales motions and business practices.
- Analyze and gather stakeholder feedback regarding important collateral and processes, proposing improvements and setting priorities with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Global Technical Sales leaders on new Product launches, initiatives, and sales program strategies, strategizing to scale key motions across global technical selling roles.
- Support technical sales planning, skills definition, and demand planning to ensure SE teams have the capability and capacity to advance customers on their Splunk journey.
- Represent the needs of technical sellers and key go to market considerations in cross-functional forums including process and collateral improvements.
- Track and measure success using existing and newly defined KPIs.
Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified:
- BS/BA or greater, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in Solutions Engineering or in direct support of Solutions Engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to build content for a range of audiences with limited feedback.
- Experience with fiscal and strategic planning including leading cross-functional planning workstreams.
- Experience in program management, project management, and/or software product launch.
- Experience working on complex programs that require understanding and representing all facets of go-to-market operations.
- Demonstrated ability to bring together cross-functional teams, coordinating and holding stakeholders accountable for program success.
- Proficiency in building polished deliverables for audiences ranging from executives to execution teams and external audiences.

Compensation and Benefits:
Base Pay Range:
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area: $160,000.00 - 220,000.00 per year.
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts: $144,000.00 - 198,000.00 per year.
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year.
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
