Position Overview:
Do you have experience with Splunk? Our cyber security group has a great opportunity for someone to bring their passion, dedication, and expertise to support the event management team! You will be a part of the engineering efforts to craft, build and maintain new Splunk SaaS platform and expand log collection across a large hybrid environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Splunk enterprise Subject Matter Expert
- Architect, design, support, and maintain high availability SaaS Splunk deployment
- Maintain Splunk architectural diagrams and documentation
- Troubleshoot integration challenges and configuration issues
- Responsible for onboarding and maintaining a wide variety of data sources to include various OS, appliances, and application logs
Our Impact:
Our team is responsible for ensuring vital events are logged and collected centrally in the SIEM. These include on-prem and cloud infrastructure, applications, databases, endpoints, SaaS systems, and others!
Your Impact:
Guide Splunk Deployments, data collection best practices and lead and troubleshoot Splunk Enterprise environment, including SaaS and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years hands-on experience administering enterprise security tools
- 3+ years of experience with deploying, configuring, and performing functional testing and data validation in a Splunk environment
- Experience designing and implementing Splunk installations from the ground up, including all various server roles (Search Head, Indexers, Heavy Forwarders and Universal Forwarders, etc.)
- Must have sophisticated knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, and cloud technologies
- Preferred certifications: Splunk Certified, CISSP, AWS/GCP/Azure

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $115,000 - $173,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
