JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Vice President of sales to lead our sales efforts in the West Region, with a focus on San Francisco and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large enterprise B2B sales, a deep understanding of our industry, a strong network of people that they can recruit from, and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective leadership and existing client relationships at senior levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the West Region to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the West Region, focusing on key industries and verticals.
- Collaborate with our alliance partners to drive joint sales activity.
- Build strong relationships with clients for EOS, understanding their unique needs and positioning EOS IT Solutions as a trusted partner.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving IT needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes in the East Region.
- Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business expansion and differentiation.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales metrics, pipeline status, and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Identify key talent in the market that can make a difference at EOS and ensure strong development of the existing team in place.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of demonstrated success consistently achieving sales targets using a consultative, solution-oriented approach focusing on customer outcomes.
- 8+ years of success managing a high performing team.
- Knowledge of MEDDIC or MEDDPIC sales methodology.
- Strong values-based leadership with a passion for mentoring a diverse sales team.
- Adept at managing sales/revenue forecasts and developing strategies to bridge gaps to achieve targeted results.
- 5+ years of strong understanding of IT managed services, Networking and AV Industry.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance sales teams.
- Ability to close deals by employing a variety of strategic angles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
