This is an onsite based position in Santa Clara, CA.
As the Principal Software Architect Microservices and MLOps you will lead a talented team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust software solutions. You will leverage your extensive experience in Microservices, API management, API Catalogs, Solr/Elastic Search, and MLOps architectures to drive the technical vision and strategy for our enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Technical Strategy & Architecture:
- Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for software development.
- Architect and design scalable, high-performance systems using Microservices.
- Oversee the implementation of API management and API Catalogs.
- Development & Implementation:
- Lead the development of Microservices.
- Lead the development of Solr/Elastic Search applications.
- Implement and manage MLOps architectures to streamline machine learning workflows.
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and technical challenges.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience with Microservices architecture and API management.
- Proficiency in building and managing API Catalogs.
- Hands-on experience with Solr/Elastic Search application development.
- Expertise in MLOps architectures and practices.
- Comfortable with CI/CD Pipelines.
- Experience with Git version control, and other software adjacent tools.
- Strong background in system architecture and design.
- Strong experience in two or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, and .Net.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time.

U.S. Salary Range: $202,500.00 - $278,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
