Position Summary
As a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead Director, you will oversee a team responsible for reporting, analytics, and insights across Healthcare Benefits/Aetna to succeed in cost strategy, insights, and enhanced resource management. In this role, you will lead and act as liaison to other functions to ensure consistent treatment and prioritized execution/rebalancing of initiatives and resources.
You will accomplish this by:
- Driving consistency in how teams manage productivity/initiatives
- Providing and directing for clarity on “new normal” or baseline/run-rate (e.g., Training/Attrition, Service recovery, staffing ratios)
- Ensuring visibility and transparency against enterprise initiatives, (e.g., IT/digital investment, strategic priority investments and member experience, competitive cost positions and overall productivity)
- Developing analytics to understand trends of actual G&A spend and accuracy of forecasts and budgets to better understand emerging Risk and Opportunities to our business
- Leading initiatives to drive businesses towards improvement based on actionable analytics, e.g., benchmarking, workforce trends, etc.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of progressive finance, consulting, healthcare, or other aligned experience
- At least 3 years of managing cross-functional matrixed partners and stakeholders
- At least 3 years of overseeing and executing multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Ability to Build Trust across Business Partners
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
Education
Bachelors Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
