CircleCI’s Legal team is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager and seeks someone with a high degree of self-sufficiency to provide sound and timely commercial legal advice. The ideal candidate is a contracts manager or paralegal with the qualifications described below who has worked at a fast-moving SaaS company.
This is a hybrid, Bay-area position, working 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, and reports to the Director of Contracts and Legal Operations. CircleCI is located off Market Street, close to the Embarcadero.
Responsibilities:
- Review, redline, draft and finalize a variety of sell-side and buy-side governing agreements and related documents: SaaS, Software License, Reseller and Systems Integrator Agreements; DPAs, NDAs, and Order Forms.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales- and Procurement-adjacent teams and external parties to ensure efficient workflow and request/change management.
- Perform general contract and administrative support, including inter-departmental coordination of legal matters on behalf of the Legal team.
- Use various software applications to maintain and manage contracts and processes to drive efficiency and internal alignment.
- Manage or participate in various Legal projects from time-to-time.
- Support the Legal team in meeting its SLAs and OKRs.
Experience & Qualifications:
- College degree, professional certification(s) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a contract manager and/or paralegal, preferably at a SaaS or technology company.
- Strong issue-spotting and redlining skills to manage legal risk quickly and equitably.
- Compatible to working with Sales teams.
- Appreciable experience with a variety of applications (Adobe Professional, DealHub, DocuSign, Google Workspace, HubSpot, LinkSquares, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, etc.).
- Familiarity with data privacy and information security regulations and associated documentation (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and adjust easily in response to shifting priorities, process change, and risk tolerance.
- Extremely organized and resourceful with a high attention to detail.
- Collaborative interpersonal skills to work on a team in a proactive and service-oriented manner.
- Commitment to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and respect.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

United States Base Pay Range: $116,000 — $145,000 USD.
