Job Description
The Vice President of Analytics and Technology is a key leadership role responsible for driving the analytics practice evolution, operations, and revenue growth across the agency, specifically focusing on the North American business for a critical global client. Reporting to the SVP, Analytics, the VP of Analytics will manage data sciences, performance marketing analysts, and business intelligence teams and ensure a unified understanding of media investment value in terms of new customers and customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate will be an inclusive, critical thinker with high emotional intelligence, capable of leading diverse teams and delivering results.
Role Objectives:
Account Management
- Drive client satisfaction and growth, specifically pertaining to analytics and technology
- Support cross-agency collaboration and matrix structure to ensure client success
- Collaborate with media investment teams and clients to develop and manage a learning agenda, ensuring clear project prioritization and resource allocation
Client Leadership
- Act as a senior leader for assigned clients, building strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders
- Maintain a strong understanding of marketplace conditions, leveraging knowledge of the latest trends in analytics and marketing technology to lead client strategies and deliver industry-leading points of view and perspectives
Practice Development
- Enhance and implement frameworks to address client strategies, integrating digital media, customer analytics, and performance improvement
- Establish and maintain partnerships with leading technology and analytics platforms
- Identify process improvements through new service development and improve workflow efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, accountability, and intellectual curiosity
- Provide coaching and mentorship to develop critical thinking, quantitative, and technical skills across teams
- Oversee hiring, training, and mentoring within the department, supporting diversity and inclusion efforts
- Conduct performance reviews and career path planning for direct reports
New Business
- Support business development opportunities, serving as a strategic business lead when needed and collaborating with other departments and teams within the organization
- Contribute to prospecting through personal and professional networks
- Identify and coach key department contributors for successful new business participation, fostering a cross-functional approach
Qualifications
- 12-14 years of relevant experience in Management Consulting, Analytics or Marketing
- Master’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Sciences, or a related field; or a demonstrated equivalent work experience.
- Adaptability and willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in analytics and digital marketing
- 6+ years of management experience, demonstrating a commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Experience in managing data scientists, performance marketing analysts, and business intelligence teams
- Extensive experience in digital, including digital measurement, analytics, and associated data/technology platforms
- Strong knowledge of analytics disciplines, including Web Analytics, Programmatic, CRM, Predictive Modeling, Marketing Mix Modeling, Attribution, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehousing
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders
Additional Information
Compensation Range: $159,500 - $250,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
