What you’ll be doing...
At Verizon we are reimagining IoT with 5G. Verizon Business Group is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive and build product strategy around 5G with a special focus on global IoT Connectivity with international roaming and eSIM localization.
Work with the IoT connectivity, product technology teams, global roaming teams to define product roadmaps
Interface with existing and new IoT customers using our ThingSpace platform to provision, manage and automate devices, connectivity and other managed services.
Work closely with product management, product marketing, and other cross-functional marketing stakeholders to define and execute the positioning, messaging and all marketing activities
Work with partners to accelerate intelligent IoT solutions in providing value-added benefits for enterprise customers will be part of this position
Building new IoT product features that leverage the advanced network capabilities and translate them as customer-facing platform features
Deliver and maintain a strategic view of network technologies tied to business value and growth opportunities in IoT verticals
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree and four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Six or more years of experience working in 4G or 5G core network technology with strong technical and business acumen.
Six or more years of experience with product lifecycle experience in global IoT connectivity, including but not limited to cellular and satellite.
Six or more years of demonstrated full-lifecycle ownership of product development, with cross-functional team and cross-discipline execution.
Experience working in GSMA Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) with solid knowledge of eSIM, iSIM and eUICC.
Knowledge of or experience in working with international tax and regulatory domains.
Experience in building and executing product-led growth strategy and planning at a global scale.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A Master's degree in a technical field (computer science or engineering degrees) or MBA.
Strong knowledge in interfacing with 5G Network elements and 5G specifications.
Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies, telecoms, and IoT business models.
Knowledge of Private Wireless Network, Private APNs, Device Management, and ETSI standards.
Familiar with IoT technologies and other information security disciplines such as mobile security, cloud security, and IoT security.
Strong communication skills to manage the large degree of external interaction with customers and partners the role needs.
Ability to take ownership and be accountable for the quality of all deliverables.
Ability to support multiple projects and perform project management activities such as planning, sizing, configuration, resources, and scheduling.
Generally considered an industry expert amongst internal and external peer groups.
Comfortable working with both technical and business communities.
Self-starter, closer, highly-accountable, resourceful, and result-oriented.
Able to demonstrate complex problem-solving skills in business, marketing, product, and technology.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong logical, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $119,000.00 and $241,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
