The Clinical Director is responsible for providing clinical leadership and policy direction for all outpatient treatment programs; maintaining accepted standards of medical practice & compliance throughout the facility, and providing administrative and professional supervision of all staff. The main goal is to ensure that patients receive effective and organized treatment and recovery plans.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the provision of services in alignment with the program's philosophy and standards by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating services, programs, and activities.
- Monitor and conduct quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of care.
- Review and approve curricula and program materials for clinical appropriateness and authorize the acquisition of new materials.
- Work closely with medical and counseling staff to establish a comprehensive care plan for program participants.
- Supervise counseling staff in delivering family-focused, trauma-informed mental health services to in-patient community.
- Provide clinical supervision to staff working towards licensure and offer individual and group counseling sessions.
- Ensure counseling staff are adequately trained in delivering program curricula to clients.
- Supervise the assessment of new patients, schedule treatment activities, assign caseloads, and evaluate clinicians' performance.
- Review and approve all clinical documentation and conduct regular quality assurance reviews to maintain accurate record-keeping.
- Evaluate staff performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide necessary support and training.
- Serve as the liaison with families, offering recommendations for program enhancement.
- Continuously assess client needs and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Conduct regular chart reviews to ensure compliance with record-keeping standards and regulations.
- Participate in program development discussions and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain performance and conduct standards as per organizational expectations.
- Ensure contracts for clinical services are upheld and compliant with regulations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate must hold a Master's degree or higher and possess an active TN state licensure as LPC, LPC-MHSP, LCSW, or LMFT.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in administrative management and clinical supervision is required.
- Proficiency in the insurance billing process and being credentialed with different insurance companies are essential.
- Extensive clinical background working with substance abuse and mental health is a must.
- The candidate should be collaborative, team-oriented, and demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meticulous attention to detail are necessary.
- Computer literacy is a requirement, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
Compensation
$80,000 - $95,000 yearly
