Job Description:
As an experienced Technical Sales Manager, you will contribute to the growth of integrated circuit solutions business sales. Company is looking for candidates with strong technical skills in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design to work with their Mil-Aero and Industrial customers.
Additional duties include the evaluation of customer requirements and estimates of effort/expenses for potential new business, and participation in identifying problems with and improvements to, internal design methodologies.
Essential Duties & Qualifications:
- Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
- Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
- Develop technical and cost proposals.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
- Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
- Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
- Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
- Responsible for presales technical engagements.
- Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
- Travel up to 30% is anticipated. Ability to work with customers to understand their high-level requirements and design solutions.
- Responsible for understanding the technical requirements and forecasts realistic customer requirements.
- Support business case development.
- Contribute to the development of the overall ASIC architecture.
- Support of the IC Design, Test, and Product teams during the development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry.
- 3+ years of experience in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
- Experience working with Mil-Aero customers and/or Industrial customers a plus.
- Proven track record of documenting technical requirements.
- Experience working with systems that include some of the following: linear and switching voltage regulators, high/low side power switches, digital drivers, amplifiers, ADCs, SPI, CAN, microprocessors, thermal considerations, EMC considerations.
- Understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal design fundamentals.
- Must have strong technical documentation and verbal communication skills.
- Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills, good English oral and written communications skills, and a high level of interpersonal skills.
- Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a customer oriented, fast-paced, and demanding environment with minimal supervision.
- Leadership qualities: Integrity, attention to detail, goal oriented, and motivated to improve.
- Skilled in use of common computer applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
