Job Purpose
To develop, create, manage and visualize asset strategies that maximize our business value while proactively managing asset risk and improving our value framework. Working with various stakeholders to create a quantitative, comprehensive asset risk approach that allocates an appropriate amount of resources to achieve organizational goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Produce effective reports for use by senior leaders to help them understand the current risk exposure of our asset population and the impact of different strategies on risk over time.
- Responsible for the development, maintenance, analysis, and communication of the itemized and optimized multi-year asset strategy for multiple asset groups.
- Create What-if scenarios that allow stakeholders to compare various risk-based asset strategies.
- Work with business units and the Workforce Strategy area to translate long-term business objectives into well-defined resource requirements to support execution of capital and operational objectives.
- Organize and develop analysis and presentation material to communicate the plan to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support regulatory activities through the analysis of past and future investment plans.
- Monitor progress against sanctioned scope of works, costs, and delivery.
- Develop, implement, and manage the asset investment approval processes, systems, and document management.
- Analyze key themes and cost elements from a wide range of data sources in order to identify how different scenarios may impact upon the business and facilitate improvements in planning.
Qualifications
- BS in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years in an engineering discipline.
- An understanding of our Copperleaf Value Framework.
- An understanding of basic utility accounting, finance, and regulatory principles. An ability to review, proofread, and tie out numerical data and analysis to a high level of accuracy and confidence. Accurate record keeping and documentation is also a must.
- Proficient in Project management and Work Management software including Microsoft Office, Excel, STORMS, Power Plant, Alteryx, Power-Bi, and Copperleaf.

Salary: $139,000 - $164,000 a year.
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
