JOB SUMMARY
The EVP, Chief Growth Officer is responsible for driving sustainable growth strategies for all customer facing products by focusing on expanding market presence, increasing revenue streams, and enhancing customer engagement to achieve business objectives. Creates a unified growth plan that includes identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities. Works across teams and departments,fostering internal alignment. Provides leadership, strategic oversight and intersection of the Sales, Marketing and Products departments to create profitability. Responsible for sales, product and marketing budgets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and executes strategies to expand the company’s market share, revenue and profitability. Analyzes market trends, consumer behaviors and competition to develop strategies for growth.
Manages and coordinates between direct reports in the Sales, Marketing and Products Departments to support the development and execution of company goals. Establishes and implements short- and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures in line with the vision and mission of the organization adhering to the KLC’s Core Values.
Oversees the activities of the VP, Corporate Accounts and New Business Development to develop and implement sales policy, direction, and growth strategy for chain accounts and new business development via new technology, new business solutions and new customer base. Oversees the activities of the State Sales Director to develop and implement sales policy, direction, and growth strategy for sales regions consisting of regional sales managers and territory sales managers. Coordinates the activities of sales staff to effectively implement sales programs and activities of approximately 3,500 retailers. Provides leadership to assist State Sales Director in developing and maintaining a highly skilled and motivated sales team.
Oversees the activities of the VP, Product who is responsible for creating a product portfolio that will continue to deliver increasing revenues and gross gaming revenue (GGR) while integrating the continuously evolving digital suite of products into the KLC portfolio and brand experience.
Oversees the activities of the VP, Chief Brand Officer to define, develop and maintain the company’s brand identity and image. Ensures the company’s brand helps to attract and retain customers. Ensures brand consistency across all touchpoints, to enhance customer trust and loyalty. Oversees the design and implementation of effective marketing strategies and programs, to support new and existing products, and leveraging advertising impact and product awareness to generate maximum sales and profits.
Responsible for coordination of departments in multi-function projects including growth and awareness campaigns, marketing plans, new product launches, and new gaming vehicles.
Mentors and develops staff using a supportive and collaborative approach on a consistent basis. Establishes and monitors staff performance and development goals, assigns accountabilities, sets objectives, establishes priorities, and conducts annual performance evaluations.
Oversight of the sales, marketing and product budgets. Measures ROI in terms of overall impact and effectiveness.
Plans and executes strategies as part of the senior management team that will enable the organization to achieve or exceed its strategic goals.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS EXPERIENCE
Incumbent must possess the following combination of knowledge and experience:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
Minimum of ten years’ relatable work experience.
Proven experience as a senior manager with demonstrated leadership skills in building, mentoring and coaching a team. Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with senior management, Board of Directors, and staff.
High level of self-awareness, the ability to listen and communicate well, and work with diverse people and groups.
Ability to interact with others, and enable coordination—by communicating information, facilitating the exchange of ideas, building and overseeing teams, and identifying and solving problems.
Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills to support recommendations and budget management.
Experience in planning, developing, and implementing sales, marketing, and business plans and budgets.
Ability to function as an effective, tactical and strategic thinker.
Excellent judgment and creative, critical thinking skills.
Preferred
Strong understanding of the lottery industry including current trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Experience in managing sales teams, developing sales strategies, and implementing sales plans. Ability to interpret sales data and use it to develop sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Developing and executing marketing strategies to promote products or services.
Experience with digital products and technologies.
Experience working across multiple product lines to maximize portfolio performance.

Salary Range: $183,600 – $275,400. Placement within the salary range is determined based on years of directly relatable experience for the position.
