Mercury Financial is headquartered in the progressive and entrepreneurial tech hub of Austin, Texas. Our physical location is situated in a beautiful park-like setting called the Domain. Role: Existing Customer Management Senior Analyst
We're seeking an Existing Customer Management (ECM) Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our company's ECM team, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing customer trends, measuring impacts of prior strategies, and designing future initiatives to enhance our customer experience and drive business growth.
What a day is like:
- Analyze customer trends and behaviors to identify opportunities for improvement in our credit card products and services
- Measure and report on the impacts of previous tests and strategies to inform future decision-making
- Design and propose new tests and strategies to enhance customer engagement and product performance
- Create insightful reports and visualizations using tools like Excel, Tableau, R or Python
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including compliance, marketing, operations, and others to implement and evaluate strategies
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as activation rates, spend, utilization, and granular segment performance
- Present findings and recommendations to management, translating complex data into actionable insights
You’re perfect for this role if you:
- 1-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the credit card or banking industry
- Technical proficiency in some of these: SQL or SAS, Excel, R or Python; (Pref. SQL and R)
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data manipulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information
- Data visualization experience with tools like Tableau, ggplot, plotly, shiny, etc.
- Experience in or understanding of credit card products and customer lifecycle management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science) is preferred, but we consider candidates from all educational backgrounds
