Job OverviewWe are in search of a driven and accomplished Vice President of Investor Relations to become an integral part of our expanding team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth sector and company research to assess potential investment opportunities.
- Execute thorough financial analyses, including valuations and due diligence processes.
- Formulate and manage due diligence inquiries, collaborating with external consultants and advisors.
- Ensure compliance and conduct background checks, with occasional travel required (approximately 3-5 days per month).
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and associates.
- Prepare presentations and materials for the investment committee, while negotiating credit agreements.
- Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, addressing specific inquiries and issues as they arise.
- Review quarterly return forecasts, ensuring consistency with initial investment evaluations.
- Assist in navigating challenges or identifying opportunities for additional funding.
- Oversee the work of at least one analyst and one associate, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Provide ongoing training and support to facilitate career growth.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel for modeling and analysis, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong capabilities in accounting and financial analysis.
- Exceptional presentation and written communication skills in English.
- Effective research abilities pertaining to U.S. business sectors utilizing diverse resources.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in private credit underwriting with U.S. companies generating under $100 million in revenue. Experience in investment banking, private equity, commercial lending, M&A, or transaction advisory is also highly regarded.
