Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Director, Brand Marketing and Creative located in New Brunswick, NJ. Remote US work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

The Brand Marketing and Creative Director will bring a mix of strategic marketing, creative expertise, and business acumen to generate brand awareness of our business to priority audiences. We’re looking for an experienced manager of people, someone who can effectively communicate and develop impactful strategies and inspire others while developing creative that makes a real impact. The ideal candidate understands that strategy and creative need to develop and work together to be successful.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and review the work of the brand creative team and partners for external marketing collateral including social media, video, photography, print, outdoor, etc.
- Prioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short- and long-term needs, and develop schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production artists.
- Supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social-media experts, photographers/videographers, and project managers in the strategic development of messaging and deliverables.
- Ensure brand compliance and media best practices across all materials.
- Lead the strategy to bring our Brand Comms messaging and business priorities to external audiences.
- Define key targets and work with our paid media team to operationalize.
- Spearhead and manage content strategy for both organic/owned platforms and paid campaigns.
- Collaborate with the channel strategy team and our internal partners in developing strategic plans, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities.
- Manage agencies around strategic work and/or campaign development.
- Analyze brand tracking, market trends, consumer needs, and the competitor landscape.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required with a specialization in marketing, communications or digital marketing preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in creating marketing/advertising campaigns — from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budget.
- Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print.
- Proven ability to develop successful concepts.
- Deep experience required in leading a team of diverse, talented creatives and marketing strategists as well as managing agency and contractor support.
- Experience in leading both strategic and creative teams.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and collaborate across many internal and external teams.
Preferred:
- Experience building parent brand reputation for big companies.
- Experience in Healthcare, pharmaceutical and/or medical device marketing.
- Collaborative workstyle and vast experience presenting to senior executives.
- Strong creative vision, while staying on target with business objectives.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand frequently used corporate systems, processes, and compliance protocols.
- Preferred experience in AirTable or similar project management software.
- Experience using Zoom, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
- Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning through various training and new project opportunities.

The base pay range for this position is $142,000 - $244,950. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
