Your Responsibilities as a Leader:
- Financial Leadership: Direct the financial management of various entities within the real estate space, with a strong focus on multifamily residential assets.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Oversee financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, aligning the organization's overall financial goals.
- Accounting Standards: Implement and maintain rigorous accounting principles and practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Strategic Initiatives: Participate in strategic planning and effective time management to drive financial success and organizational growth.
- Risk Management: Conduct advanced financial modeling and risk assessments to protect assets and ensure the organization's economic stability.
- Collaborative Processes: Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth processing, supporting the organization's diverse needs.
The Skills & Experience You Possess:
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in financial management.
- CPA certification is an asset but not a requirement.
- Experience in the real estate industry, preferably in multifamily.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with a deep understanding of advanced accounting principles.
- Exceptional skills in strategic planning and time management.
- A strong background in financial modeling and risk management.
- Proficiency in Yardi, RealPage Products, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks is essential.
