Director of Finance - VSD Global Operations
We are looking for an exceptional Director of Finance – VSD Global Operations who can be a key member of the VSD operations and finance leadership team. In this position, you will partner with Senior Executives including the Sr Director VSD Global Ops, Sr Finance Director Global Ops and the VP of Global Ops to drive strategic financial and business initiatives across the V&A division while leading the Cost Accounting function to ensure Gross Margin and Inventory accuracy. Working in partnership with the BU Finance teams you will lead Operations Finance initiatives, manage forecast processes, analyze actual results, support business strategy initiatives, and set direction for V&A Operations Finance. You Will Make an Impact By:
- Lead all Finance, Planning & Analysis activities as a strategic finance partner for the VSD Global Operations (gross margin and capex).
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to Cost Accounting team (6 direct reports, 1 dotted line report).
- Set and manage compliance of common Inventory & Cost Accounting policies & internal controls across the division.
- Develop, analyze, and interpret financial information to evaluate operating results in terms of performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the profitability of the Company.
- Support Management and Finance to identify and drive Operational and Cost improvements through the Profit & Cash program.
- Travel to manufacturing locations to work with local teams- Nogales, MX, Berlin, DE, Shenzhen, CN, Rohovat, Israel, Rochester, NY, Boulder, CO.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience (MBA is desired).
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive Finance experience.
- Skills:
- Success working in a collaborative, matrixed environment, and a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact.
- Experience with complex, multi-site, multi-national operations building high tech hardware products.
- Experience managing change, influencing leadership, managing risk and ensuring compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to address difficult issues and make independent decisions.
- Ability to think critically, troubleshoot and solve problems with confidence.
- Experience and ability to deliver in a fast-paced, high growth, changing environment.
Supervisory Scope:
In this role you will report into the Sr. Director of Finance and lead a team of 4 direct reports with 3 additional dotted line reports.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

*This position is a hybrid role requiring 3-4 days onsite weekly with the remainder able to work remotely. Candidates must live within commuting distance to Andover, MA.
