We are hiring for the exciting new position of People Partner to join us on a permanent basis in Singapore looking after the South-East Asia region.
In this role, you will partner with CEO-2 and CEO-3 leaders who have significant strategic impact (due to scale or commercial influence) and where there is significant complexity, large-scale company-wide growth and transformation.
You will be commercially astute, using data-driven insight, knowledge, and experience across both the people agenda and wider commercial issues, to distil complex business and people situations into practical solutions. You’ll innovate and direct people initiatives to grow and transform the business including culture, organisation design & development, future capability development, critical talent identification and retention.
As a People Partner, you will report to the People Partner Lead and work in close collaboration with the People Directors or Divisions or Function to ensure end-to-end alignment across the people plan and ensuring that the People Director is aware of any high impact situations.
You will collaborate with other People Partners, People Advisors, COEs and People Services from our South-east Asian entities (e.g. Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines etc.) to affect the desired outcomes of the strategy for the business division/function whilst at the same time delivering on the people team principles of consistency in experience and scalability.
Being a truly multi-national company, this role will be in hybrid working capacity, with the expectation of working in our Singapore office 2-3 times a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Enabling organisation effectiveness and change management to build organisational and people capabilities, to deliver optimal impact on business performance.
- Providing data-driven insight, sound-judgement and guidance on people practices such as restructures, succession planning and organisational development.
- Actively identify skill gaps for the future organisation, proposing and implementing changes and strategies to both develop internal talent and recruit external talent, proactively responding to risks and opportunities across the broader ecosystem.
- Management of complex employee relations cases.
- Understand, interpret and articulate options and recommendations based on BSI people frameworks, policies and processes across all aspects of the people experience, expertly balancing the experience with commerciality and risk mitigation.
- Identify opportunities, generate energy and mobilise support for realising the opportunity through leading or supporting People Function projects.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Extensive HR Business Partnering experience in a multinational capacity.
- Degree in HR related field or equivalent.
- Must be business proficient in written/spoken English.
- Proven experience working and influencing senior leaders.
- Self-sufficient and ability to bring ambiguity.
- Experience dealing with change.
- Experience in supporting and working with other countries and regions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Workday experience will be a significant advantage.
