Pay Range: DIRECTOR, FIN PLANNING & ANALYSIS - $60.72 to $97.15
Job Summary
The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for driving organization-wide development, implementation, and day to day management and use of advanced approaches to financial planning and labor management. Through this work, identifies and assists the organization in making and implementing sound business decisions to improve financial performance and enhance care delivery.
Licensure and Certification:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or business related field
- Master’s degree in Business preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing hospital budget preparation, and a financial analysis or decision support department
- Minimum five (5) years Supervisory experience required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, and cost accounting systems and costing methodologies in a hospital environment
- Advanced knowledge and experience in preparing complex hospital budgets and using hospital budgeting systems
- Advanced knowledge and experience in performing complex financial analysis and pro-forms
- Advanced knowledge and training to perform complex queries and data retrieval/manipulation
Physical Demands - Clerical/Administrative Non-Patient Care:
- Frequent sitting and standing/walking with frequent position change.
- Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, and forward reaching between waist and chest level.
- Occasional/intermittent reaching at or above shoulder level.
- Occasional/intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, twisting, and climbing.
- Occasional/intermittent lifting and carrying objects/equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Continuous use of near vision, hearing and verbal communication skills in handling telephone calls, interacting with customers and co-workers and performing job duties.
