Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI), part of Memorial Healthcare System, is seeking a BE/BC Hematologist/Medical Oncologist to join its highly specialized team in delivering world-class cancer care. MCI, one of the largest cancer centers in Florida, is a community-based Cancer Center of Excellence designated by the Florida Department of Health.
The physician will be based out of our outpatient satellite office in Hallandale and collaborate with a team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists to provide comprehensive treatment options for patients, along with integrative medicine specialists to optimize patients’ well-being and quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established program with a strong reputation in the community and a state-of-the-art facility with innovative technology.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in research and academic pursuits, such as presenting at conferences and/or publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Candidates must have an interest and passion for teaching, as they will be involved in training the next generation of physicians with Memorial’s ACGME-accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program. The selected candidate will be required to actively participate in clinical research, both through patient enrollment and participation in forums to conduct institutional research initiatives. Ample resources for academic pursuits via affiliations with nearby universities are available.
This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
