PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $162,600.00-$198,600.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $126,000.00 - $235,100.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
As the Strategic Support Director, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of BECU by partnering with senior leaders to align and execute strategic goals. You'll drive critical enterprise programs, identifying key opportunities and interdependencies that will influence the entire business unit. Your leadership will ensure smooth communication, operational efficiency, and foster a cohesive culture that champions both member and employee satisfaction.
In this role, your ability to lead, collaborate, and influence will help drive organizational growth and success. You’ll be the bridge that ensures all initiatives align with BECU’s strategic vision, while also ensuring that employee engagement and development are at the forefront of business decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with senior leaders to align your business unit's goals with BECU’s overarching vision and strategic roadmap.
- Operational Management: Establish and manage business processes and routines that drive operational success and ensure alignment with key priorities across the organization.
- Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and implement team strategies that support BECU’s strategic business and employee engagement goals.
- Survey and Feedback Analysis: Analyze feedback from surveys and other sources to identify member and employee needs and take action to address areas of improvement.
- Unified Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies that ensure employees understand the division's goals and initiatives, promoting a unified culture.
- Business Rhythms: Establish and manage operational routines such as management reviews and feedback loops to continuously improve service quality within the business unit.
- Integration of People Programs: Ensure that employee programs such as performance management, learning, and engagement initiatives are seamlessly integrated into the business unit.
- Change Leadership: Act as a leader of change within the business unit, ensuring successful adoption of key programs and initiatives.
- Resource Management: Collaborate with leaders across BECU to allocate resources, manage timelines, and maintain development lifecycles.
- Facilitation and Support: Provide guidance on organizational design, strategic planning, staffing, and budget planning to senior leadership.
- Business Case Development: Participate in key planning meetings and committees, developing business cases that support your unit’s projects and strategic initiatives.
- Executive Communication: Prepare presentations and communication tools for senior executives and board members, ensuring they have the insights needed to make informed decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of experience in operations management, project management, business implementation, or organizational communications.

- Strong project and program management capabilities.
- Experience in both tactical and strategic planning.
- Proven leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence others.
