TapHere is seeking an experienced Data Architect / Scientist IV in Belcamp, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.
- Use a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, tools, build and implement models, create algorithms, and run simulations.
- Drive operational results with data-based insights.
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
- Develop testing framework and is responsible for testing model quality.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Prepare detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data.
- Train assistants and other team members on properly organizing findings and reading collected data.
- Design computer code using various languages to improve and update software and applications.
- Refer to previous instances and findings to determine the ideal method for gathering data.
Experience Required:
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
• 7 years of position-relevant work experience.
• Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data visualization, or data mining.
• Active Clearance: TS/SCI
Preferred Skills:
• Master's degree in Data Science or equivalent.
• Vendor tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements (e.g., Oracle and Mongo).
• Experience in Python software development or equivalent.
