The Coca-Cola Company is expanding on the digital transformation of our E2E SAP and related Supply Chain processes and systems. This role is primarily focused on our Concentrate CPS business (Commercial Product Supply), but it reaches across our other organizational units and business partners (vendors, Bottling customers).
We are seeking a Director in Forecast to Deploy functions to lead activities in our new transformation project. This role is responsible for thought-leadership, design, delivery, and deployment activities towards this multi-year initiative. The role will be based in Atlanta.
This role will work closely with our global business team to understand the ERP (SAP S/4) Forecast to Deploy solutions, including Production Execution, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance, as well as related interfaced systems.
This role will drive and design our Forecast to Deploy functionality and will work with our project Consulting partners on process and solution design, testing, training, and implementation. This role will collaborate with the other project transformation functional teams (Production Planning, Production Scheduling, MRP, and Materials Management).
Currently, Coca-Cola has globally implemented S/4 Hana, SAP MII, Sample Manager, and Prometheus solutions. Most plant operations are executed in SAP S/4, which serves as the book of record for production execution, quality, and maintenance. SAP MII has also been implemented globally, with a continuous improvement approach to enable better and user-friendly integrations with plant shop floor systems.
New projects will include complete implementations of new manufacturing plants, expansions of plants with new production lines, extension of existing solutions with new scenarios for new or enhanced product lines, production and maintenance improvements. Additionally, several integrations with other SAP solutions will be implemented to enhance existing solutions.
It is essential that the candidate demonstrates strong leadership and technical skills in Forecast to Deploy technologies and solutions within the supply chain for the consumer products industry. These technologies include SAP S/4 PE, QM, PM, SAP MII, DM, as well as the integrations and interfaces necessary to manage an end-to-end production supply chain. We are seeking a leader with hands-on experience in SAP implementations, solution design, configuration, and deployments.
It is crucial for this role to understand the various levels of master data elements required to support the Forecast to Deploy solutions in SAP. This includes deep expertise in Materials Master, BOM (Bill of Materials), Recipes, Resources, Equipment, Functional Locations, and Inspection Plans. Additionally, proficiency in managing the master data necessary to integrate Forecast to Deploy with other Supply Chain SAP modules, such as EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and Planning, is essential.
This role will have responsibilities and require expertise in project management, change management, resource utilization, and system deployments. This role will work collaboratively with our software vendors and research ways to leverage the software capabilities.
Main Areas Of Responsibility:
- Production Execution (Plant manufacturing processes, integration with MES via MII and other Shop floor systems, Recipe Management, Global Label Printing solutions)
- Quality Management (In Process, Inbound and Outbound Inspections, Integration with Coca-Cola Laboratories and R&D)
- Plant Maintenance (Corrective Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, MRO management).
What You’ll Do For Us:
- Act as the product owner by formulating global designs and deployment plans that incorporate local and regional needs while maintaining global standardization.
- As a functional and technical expert, convert business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Design, build, and test future solutions, coordinating with developers to ensure solution quality and adherence to requirements.
- Drive continuous enhancements in the SAP Forecast to Deploy space by creating functional specification documents, documenting all technical solutions, enhance SAP PE, QM and PM solutions if needed, testing and supervising the entire cycle of new enhancement moving to production environment. Support SAP upgrades.
- Ensure business continuity by providing SAP or application support to users for problem-solving, offering functional or technical solutions, training guidance, or coordinating with production support for defect resolution.
- Work closely with Super-Users, logistics digital team, and production support to coordinate information exchange and knowledge transfer, particularly around system/business changes and enhancements. Improve user capabilities by delivering SAP process training in your area of expertise.
- Collaborate with business leadership and stakeholders by providing inputs that allow a better road map construction and project prioritization while using resources in the most effective and efficient way.
- Oversee project management duties: Lead project initiatives from the business requirement gathering to solution implementation, adhering to budget, quality, and timeline constraints. Manage daily project logistics, including project phases, documentation, timelines, resource allocation, and status reports.
- Stay informed of market innovations, benchmarking, and new SAP functionality deliveries.

- Functional Engagement and Deployment: Ability to engage with senior business management and translate technical information into business language. Work directly with business leaders on functional requirements, change management, testing, training and deployment planning for business solutions.

Education:
- University/bachelor’s degree
- Minimum: 5-7 years’ experience in IT planning solutions and program management
- Preferred: 8 – 10 years’ experience in IT services, operations and handling projects.
- Multiple End to End Implementations of ERP solutions with focus on Forecast to Deploy Processes.
- Fluent in English.
