The successful candidate will be an ambitious and energetic bank leader that has a strong financial services background, strong analytical skills and can effectively contribute ideas and lead projects that benefit our customers and our team. The COO is a key executive that provides leadership and support in meeting our strategic objectives and goals.
The position is responsible for encompassing the administration, direction, and oversight of Operations which includes Deposit Operations, Commercial Loan Processing and Servicing, Retail Loan Processing and Servicing, Compliance, Teller and New Accounts Operations, Document Imaging, and may include involvement in Information Technology. This role currently manages three direct reports.
This position is ON-SITE in Hartford, Wisconsin.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum of 7 years of similar or related experience in a financial institution.
- Completion of the Wisconsin Bankers Association Graduate School of Banking, preferred.
- Documented leadership experience in a bank environment.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSES
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
- Must possess current valid driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Understanding and ability to implement bank regulations and policies to support the safety, soundness, and compliance goals of the bank.
- Ability to work with vendors to achieve business objectives.
- Basic understanding of contracts and legal agreements.
- Working knowledge of core banking systems, such as FISERV, or equivalent system preferred.
- Working knowledge of standard office equipment.
- Skills in areas related to computer operation/use including working knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to learn new systems/applications.
- Communicate Effectively: both verbally and in writing with others in a clear, thorough, and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
