About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Global Head of Talent and Performance Management to drive the talent philosophy of our rapidly growing company. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will work across the Human Resources (HR) team and manage key talent activities including talent management, succession planning, career development, and strategic workforce planning. A key aspect of this role will be to develop and implement next-generation talent practices and ensure iCapital is a driver of change and innovation in the Fintech industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of talent management strategies and initiatives that align with iCapital’s overall business strategy to develop and retain our highly capable workforce.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of iCapital’s succession planning programs.
- Direct the creation and execution of comprehensive career development plans for all iCapital employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Partner with the People Partner and Talent Acquisition teams to evolve and improve the workforce planning process, including forecasting, talent pipeline development, and workforce gap analysis.
- Collaborate with the CoEs for Talent Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Employee Experience, and Total Rewards to stay abreast of emerging trends in the future of work and incorporate these trends into talent management and workforce planning strategies.
- Drive the development and implementation of next-generation talent practices, ensuring iCapital remains innovative and competitive in the talent landscape.
- Manage and evolve the annual performance appraisal process, including goal setting, performance evaluations and promotions, and development planning.
- Partner with HR Operations and Analytics team to ensure system capabilities and reporting tools are aligned with process.
- Leverage data to inform talent strategies, drive decision-making, and measure the effectiveness of talent initiatives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Talent and Performance team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on talent management, succession planning, and career development.
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple target dates in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of business functions and principles, including strategic talent and business planning.
- Able to utilize insights and data to drive decision-making and strategy development.
- Broad and strategic thinker with the ability to influence and drive results.
- Able to develop and implement talent strategies that align with business goals.
- Comfortable managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Creative approach and ability to think in an unexpected way to develop innovative employee engagement initiatives and branding strategies.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and can manage multiple competing priorities effectively.

- Experience in financial services or technology industry is highly desirable.

Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $210,000 to $240,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office four days, with the flexibility to work remotely one day. This role can sit in our NY, NY office or our Greenwich, CT office.
