What you'll do...
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Digital Media to join our team. In this critical role, you will develop and promote our digital media vision and strategies to drive competitive differentiation and profitable revenue growth for Walmart. This role will report to the vice president of Performance Marketing. If you understand digital innovation and leadership, we invite you to apply.
This is not a remote role. The associate hired would be expected to spend the majority of their work week in the office.
Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and promote the digital media vision and strategy to guide competitive differentiation and profitable revenue growth for Walmart. Prioritize multiple campaigns based on business insights and foster a culture of innovation.
Campaign Implementation and Management: Lead and manage all digital campaigns, setting priorities and ensuring alignment with business focus. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies and partners to drive growth and achieve strategic objectives.
Process Improvement: Develop best practices by collaborating with cross-functional leadership and initiatives. Innovate and implement new methods to support the business.
Creative Development: Work with internal teams to refine creative objectives and key messages. Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners to ensure cohesive creative processes.
Budget Management: Collaborate with Marketing leadership to establish the digital media budget. Help navigate resource allocation, financial tracking, and performance management.
Collaboration: Partner with Marketing leaders, external agencies, and business/technology partners to ensure consistent and effective digital marketing campaigns. Drive the development of innovative ideas for marketing programs.
People Development: Build and lead a high-performing team, providing training, mentorship, and feedback to ensure ongoing associate development and success.
Customer Relationship Management: Collaborate on the customer segmentation strategy and activation, aligning it with digital media objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field and 7 years’ experience in marketing or related field OR 9 years’ experience in marketing or related field.
- 4 years' supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies and innovations.
- Proven track record of collaboration and team-building.
- Challenge conventional methods.
- Strategic thinking with a customer-centric approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience (15+ years) in digital media leadership roles.
