Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team to support our government clients. As Senior DevSecOps Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining, maintaining, and implementing CGS' security strategy. You will apply your deep expertise in information security technologies, concepts, and methodologies to combat potential cyber threats and ensure regulatory compliance with CGS.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide domain expertise for AWS infrastructure and application security design and implementation.
- Implement security controls and design requirements during the software development process and organizational change lifecycle.
- Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in identifying systems vulnerabilities and providing actionable remediation suggestions.
- Define best-in-class authentication and authorization methods and access controls.
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
- Conduct or facilitate threat modeling of services and applications that tie to the risk and data associated with the service or application.
- Design technical solutions to address security weaknesses, and work with relevant customers to implement them.
- Research sophisticated approaches regarding application security standard processes in the field to resolve trends that may impact the operations and address service optimization and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Stay on the forefront of IT security and vulnerability practices and remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- U.S. Citizen NATO//SECRET.IASE Level III
- BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. Or a combined set of years of experience in lieu of a degree, including the following:
- Fifteen years of combined computer/network architecture experience. Or eight years of confirmed experience in Cloud Architecture is acceptable in place of a degree.
- Ten years of technical or management experience on DoD programs and projects that provided expert software O&M of Army enterprise systems.
- Five years of technical or management experience supporting industry and Government sector cloud initiatives at an enterprise level.
- One full year of experience within the last three years, defining organizational project cloud migration objectives and requirements that map to enterprise cloud vision and/or initiatives, establishing system architecture, ensuring IA compliance, directing, coordinating, and completing project efforts, communicating with Government personnel, and providing progress reports.
- Three full years of experience within the last three years working with commercial CSPs (AWS or Microsoft Azure) in cloud-based disaster recovery (DR) and multi-region / multi-availability zone (AZ) high availability (HA) (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure, and/or if needed for the new CSPs.
- Knowledge of governance and establishing policies and procedures.
- Ability to lead at a Platform level.
- Hands-on experience with Agile System Development methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with Agile System Development methodologies.
- Ability to prioritize and display a high level of adaptability/flexibility while handling job responsibilities.
- Proficient in the use of tools and methods to efficiently lead product releases, sprints, and development cycles.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, think creatively/about the big picture, and dedicated (do-er).

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $160,000-185,000.00.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
