As a Principal Software Engineering Manager-Windows, you will work across product and technical boundaries to build intuitive privacy features that are easy to use, protect customers, and position Windows at the forefront of the AI revolution. Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering team in navigating complex engineering systems to ship Windows OS features on time with high quality.
- Manage, mentor, and grow the careers of your team.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to build exceptional consumer-grade experiences.
- Design, architect, build, and manage features for highly scalable services and responsive user interfaces.
- Review and provide guidance to ongoing design, architecture, standards, and methods for OS components, operating services, and systems; assess design and code changes to drive improvements.
- Analyze data from hundreds of millions of devices to measure the impact of the changes and recommend opportunities for improvement.
