Position Overview:
As the CFO, you will oversee the financial operations of the organization. You will establish and implement financial strategies, ensuring the organization's fiscal health, legal compliance, and long-term financial planning. You must be a data-driven leader who communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights that maximize the organization's financial impact. Additionally, you will collaborate with other executives to align financial goals with overall corporate vision and ensure organizational excellence. A broad experience in financial leadership, risk management, and financial planning is essential for your success.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s business goals and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to align financial planning with the company’s overall strategic vision.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to guide business decisions and ensure the achievement of financial targets.
- Financial Operations Management:
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage financial controls, accounting policies, and procedures to maintain the integrity of financial reporting and compliance.
- Factoring Services Financial Oversight:
- Oversee the financial management of the factoring services division, including credit risk assessment, client onboarding, and cash flow optimization.
- Ensure effective management of factoring transactions, including accounts receivable, collections, and financial reporting for factoring operations.
- Develop strategies to optimize the profitability and efficiency of factoring services while managing associated financial risks.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Provide regular updates and financial insights to the CEO and board of directors on budget performance and financial outlook.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and manage financial risks, including market risks, credit risks, and operational risks, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and financial reporting obligations for both PEO and factoring operations.
- Oversee internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to the CEO, board of directors, and other stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to the executive team.
- Monitor industry and market trends to inform financial strategy and decision making.
- Capital Management and Fundraising:
- Manage the company’s capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to support growth and operational needs.
- Evaluate and recommend financing options, including loans, lines of credit, and investment opportunities.
- Oversee relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions, ensuring effective communication and negotiation.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and develop the finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Foster a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and accountability within the finance department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of financial strategies.
- Operational Efficiency and Innovation:
- Implement financial systems and technologies that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
- Drive process improvements and automation within financial operations to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.
- Stay abreast of financial technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Strategic Partnerships and Advisory:
- Provide strategic financial advice and support to executive leadership and the board of directors on key business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and industry partners, to support the company’s growth and strategic goals.
- Represent the company in financial matters, including negotiations, presentations, and industry events.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a CFO or in a senior financial management role, ideally within a PEO, financial services, or factoring environment.
- Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and management, with experience in overseeing complex financial operations.
- Strong understanding of PEO industry operations, including HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance, as well as factoring services.
- Expertise in financial risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $93,610.00 - $100,108.00 per year
