What we are looking for:
Alexandria Restaurant Partners is seeking a talented, driven, experienced Restaurant General Manager who is passionate about hospitality.
Our ideal Restaurant General Manager will lead by example, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm, who can encourage and support our teams in a high volume fast-paced environment. They should have the strong desire to work within a thriving high volume restaurant company.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure staff development and adherence to company values.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring seamless workflow and high-quality service.
- Monitor and optimize operational processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Staffing and Training:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff, ensuring the team is adequately trained and follows company policies.
- Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews to maintain high service standards.
Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly address customer concerns and feedback.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, control costs, and establish relationships with suppliers for timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Stay informed about local and state regulations and ensure the restaurant's adherence to them.
Marketing and Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies.
- Drive initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Skills:
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years Restaurant General Management experience in full service, high volume restaurant.
- Demonstrated track record of strong leadership and ability to lead high performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve positive financial results at restaurant level.
- Dependable, reliable, and highly motivated.
- Experience with local store marketing, sales building programs and creative outside the box thinking.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry items up to and beyond 30lbs.
- Navigate a busy restaurant environment with many moving expectations.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
