What we are looking for:

Alexandria Restaurant Partners is seeking a talented, driven, experienced Restaurant General Manager who is passionate about hospitality.

Our ideal Restaurant General Manager will lead by example, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm, who can encourage and support our teams in a high volume fast-paced environment. They should have the strong desire to work within a thriving high volume restaurant company.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure staff development and adherence to company values.

Operational Excellence:

Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring seamless workflow and high-quality service.
Monitor and optimize operational processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Staffing and Training:

Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff, ensuring the team is adequately trained and follows company policies.
Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews to maintain high service standards.

Customer Service:

Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly address customer concerns and feedback.
Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels, control costs, and establish relationships with suppliers for timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Stay informed about local and state regulations and ensure the restaurant's adherence to them.

Marketing and Promotions:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies.
Drive initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Customer Focus: A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years Restaurant General Management experience in full service, high volume restaurant.
Demonstrated track record of strong leadership and ability to lead high performing teams.
Demonstrated ability to achieve positive financial results at restaurant level.
Dependable, reliable, and highly motivated.
Experience with local store marketing, sales building programs and creative outside the box thinking.

Physical Requirements:

Stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift and carry items up to and beyond 30lbs.
Navigate a busy restaurant environment with many moving expectations.
Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
