Job Description
Your Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the global insurance program for Invesco, its subsidiaries, and affiliated fund complexes. The Global Head of Insurance Programs is a highly visible role, collaborating directly with members of Invesco’s Executive Leadership team, senior business leaders across regions and functions.
The Head of Insurance Programs will lead the strategic direction and management of the company’s insurance portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovative insurance solutions that align with the company’s global asset management objectives.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Developing and implementing the overall insurance strategy to support the company’s business goals and risk management framework.
- Conducting thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the insurance sector.
- Overseeing the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive insurance programs, including property, casualty, liability, and specialty lines.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including senior management, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment of insurance strategies with business objectives.
- Managing relationships with insurance brokers, carriers, and other third-party service providers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Leading risk assessment initiatives to identify potential exposures and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring all insurance programs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Providing regular reports to senior management on the performance of insurance programs, including claims analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and risk exposure.
The Experience You Bring:
- Minimum of 10+ years of related work experience running a global or large company complex insurance program. Prior experience and/or working knowledge of the asset management/financial services sector is highly preferred but not necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of global insurance markets and regulatory environments.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM) are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels throughout the business.
- Effective decision-making skills, considering both short-term and long-term needs.
- Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and flexibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
