MBL Technologies is hiring an experienced Senior Enterprise Security Analyst to join our team in support of a federal agency's mission by providing expert guidance in enterprise security practices. The individual will play a critical role in assessing, developing, and implementing security strategies across legacy systems and new digital health technologies, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and minimizing cybersecurity risks. The role involves proactive collaboration with stakeholders to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in a complex IT environment.
This role is contingent upon award of contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in health IT infrastructures.
- Proactively assess security controls and monitor for potential security threats across cloud, mobile, IoT, AI, and API based technologies.
- Develop and recommend solutions for mitigating identified security risks, ensuring the protection of sensitive healthcare data and compliance with federal security standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant federal security policies and regulations (FISMA, NIST, and HIPAA) and implement controls to safeguard sensitive federal health information.
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise wide security frameworks and strategies tailored to the unique requirements of the federal health sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure digital architectures, including legacy systems integration with cloud-based services, IoT devices, APIs, and AI-powered applications.
- Provide expert advice to federal agency stakeholders on emerging security risks, threat landscape changes, and recommended protective measures.
- Work closely with federal IT leadership, system administrators, and other relevant teams to integrate security controls across different environments (cloud, mobile, IoT, etc.).
- Perform other official administrative tasks as assigned in support of the federal agency.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of security principles, concepts, policy and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks in security systems and work with technical experts to resolve security issues.
- Demonstrated ability to identify key concepts, factors and risks based on conversations and the ability to document these in a clear and concise narrative or graphic reports.
- Expertise with legacy and new health IT digital architectures including cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, and AI technologies.
- Masters degree in related scientific or technical discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management).
- 10 years of experience working with enterprise security practices within a federal agency.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
- Prior experience working with Veterans Affairs preferred.
