About the Team
The newly formed Field Engagement & Planning team is a pillar within Global Sales Enablement (GSE) responsible for owning and managing GSE’s relationships with field sales globally.
About the Role
The Director of Field Engagement and Planning will lead a team of Engagement Managers and Sales Training leads dedicated to North America and Specialized, while focusing individually on managing the relationship with Large Enterprise in North America.
Responsibilities include leading a team that:
- Provides consistent voice of the field input to GSE initiatives, practices, and processes.
- Establishes trusted partnerships with Sales Leadership, Sales Strategy & Operations Leaders, and key support teams.
- Partners across GSE and Revenue Operations to secure leadership sponsorship and field input for global program strategy and execution.
- Develops and socializes enablement roadmaps that include global programs, GTM, and segment specific priorities.
- Executes and delivers global and segment specific training, coaching, and development programs.
- Has an awareness of all enablement efforts happening in-region or by segment.
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years of relative work experience in a Sales, Sales Support or Presales role is required, preferably aligned to a Large Enterprise environment.
- 5+ years of experience successfully leading teams with direct and dotted reporting lines.
Other Qualifications
- Ability to establish and develop trust with Workday executive sponsors and communicate regularly with senior sales leaders.
- Experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively across pre-sales, sales, services, marketing, product, etc. to align on and drive projects to completion.
- Ability to deliver results with minimal guidance and short turnaround times.
- Strong people leader with excellent interpersonal skills.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement - United States: The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $178,300 - $301,200
