We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Sales & Marketing team as the Senior Corporate and Travel Industry Sales Manager.
The Senior Corporate and Travel Industry Sales Manager is responsible for business generation as it relates to prospecting and securing individual corporate accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the annual Marketing Plan and in concert with WSO effort. The position is also responsible for soliciting and securing business from key travel industry sources. CTISMs are accountable for ensuring quotas and goals are met and to ensure that direct sales activities are focused on generating the highest possible RevPar for the overall hotel’s success. This position requires a high degree of independent judgement and discretion in decision making.
The position will be a dual property role for Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street Boston and Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the required language.
- Good personal & professional references.
- Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Golden, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Delphi, Internet and Opera.
Education
- College Degree – 4 years or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Luxury hotel Sales preferred (minimum of 3 years) or 3 – 5 years operational hotel experience. Proven sales track record a plus.
Travel
- 15% for customer events, and 20% to Boston/New York depending on home location.
