About the role
As the Director of Product Management for Data Analytics, you will drive the continued economic success of our market leading offering by developing new innovations, expanding within our existing market segments, entering new market segments, increasing sales, and improving profitability. You will collaborate with our customers and our internal teams to understand market needs and deliver extraordinary value to our customers.
What you'll do
You will bring a record of amazing achievement for managing the data analytics products and POS integrations at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company with a hands-on approach that integrates customer needs, technical capabilities, competitive positioning, and product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Profit/Loss for our data analytics and POS integration product offerings
- Define and deliver a comprehensive product roadmap
- Conduct on-going competitive analysis
- Evaluate buy, build, or partner options for strategic product advancements
- Conduct regular customer interviews to understand customer needs
- Collaborate with our executives, sales, marketing, engineering, and customer success teams to shape our product vision and roadmaps
- Conduct usability research and optimize our customers’ product experience
- Identify and execute on revenue expansion opportunities within our market segments
- Spearhead expansion into new market segments
- Partner with our sales team to drive recurring revenue growth
- Partner with our engineering team to deliver profit margin improvements
Qualifications
- 7+ years as a product manager for a data analytics product
- 10+ years restaurant or retail technology experience in B2B solutions including Point of Sale systems
- Demonstrated ability taking a $10m+ product to the next level
- Formidable attitude with a passion for operating as a player/coach
- Ability to package solutions for multiple personas, use cases and vertical markets that enable business outcomes such as revenue enhancements, cost savings and operational improvements
- Artificial intelligence / machine learning passion is a strong plus
- Profit and Loss responsibility for a product
- Demonstrable cross selling and up-selling success into an established customer base
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Expertise in creating compelling product visions and whole product solutions
- Ability to cast an inspiring vision and achieve it incrementally one step at a time
- A love for shipping products frequently, delivering customer value, and pushing the limits of technology
- Experience with Agile software product development methods
- Exceptional knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
- MBA is preferable
The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 125,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
