Creative Director
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Creative Director of Consumer Marketing to join our team to lead our Creative Marketing and Design team. As we embark on a brand and consumer-first marketing transformation, this role will play a critical role in driving our marketing efforts and in redefining McAfee to consumers. This role reports to the Vice President, Growth Marketing.
This is a remote position; however you may be required to be onsite at our San Jose, California or Frisco, TX office on an as-needed basis. We will only consider candidates that are in a commutable distance to either regional office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About the Role:
- Develop award-winning creative campaigns for McAfee with internal teams and agency partners, bringing the brand to life in new and powerful ways to our consumers.
- Showcase our leadership in online protection through expressions of our brand in design and creative across multiple marketing channels.
- Develop 360° upper funnel, mid funnel, and lower funnel video and digital marketing campaigns, grounded in briefs, insights, and performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in the development of partner and in-product creative.
- Guide teams in key design decisions, ensuring consistency and cohesion of brand look and voice across channels.
- Provide creative inspiration across the business, and manage and develop the brand creative team. Elevate processes and workflows to optimize performance.
- Leverage best in class practices and drive excellence within the team.
Key Competencies:
- Move easily between complex activities and communicating strategies, results and opportunities, to being a hands-on creative lead.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies, channels and effective creative for each.
- Very strong relationship building and cross-functional collaboration capabilities across various levels of partners and skill sets.
- Persuasive verbal and written communication.
- Ability to move with speed and purpose and drive change.
About You:
- 10+ years of leading powerful creative campaigns and design teams.
- Deep experience in creative strategy, creative direction, concept development and execution across upper, mid and lower funnel campaigns.
- Proven ability to direct photography and motion video shoots, with prior onsite and post-production experience. Digital creative experience a must.
- Have worked in a high-growth or transformation mindset business.
- Prior experience in leadership roles.
- Experience managing creative agency partners and working with cross-functional teams across various levels of partners and skill sets.
- Ability to move with speed and purpose and drive change.
- Experience with global businesses. Experience in the tech/software industry a plus.
