Job Responsibilities
The duties of the City Manager are to plan, direct, manage, and oversee the activities and operations of the City including community development, finance, fire, human resources, maintenance and engineering, parks and recreation, police and redevelopment programs; to represent the City to all departments and outside agencies and organizations; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Council.

An honest, creative, and enthusiastic team player with high emotional intelligence is desired. The successful candidate must be humble, accessible, and responsive, with a solution-oriented mindset and exceptional political acumen. To succeed, the candidate should have the fortitude and resilience to weather the storms of public opinion and political strife. Experience as a City or County Manager in a sizable community, reporting to an elected governing body is highly desirable.
Compensation
