Job Description
We are looking for a CFO to work for our growing Cleveland Client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, capital structure, and financing activities.
- Implement and monitor effective internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting.
- Lead M&A activities, including financial due diligence, valuation, and integration.
- Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 15+ years of Finance experience with 7+ years of experience in a Senior Leadership role
- Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, and strategic planning.
- Proven track record in managing financial operations for a large, complex organization.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in M&A activities, including valuation, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
