Description
The American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) is in search of a Digital Marketing Associate to join its dynamic Marketing Team. The Digital Marketing Associate is primarily responsible for assisting with email set-up and deployment, as well as website text and content updates, to support AIFS' strategic plan. This position plays a key role in reaching and educating AIFS' U.S.-facing audiences for its various lines of business.
The Digital Marketing Associate will work closely with staff from each division/company within AIFS and reports to the Director of Marketing.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Associate to join the AIFS team in Stamford, CT. This full-time position is ideal for an individual with impeccable attention to detail who is highly organized, has strong digital marketing skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can successfully multi-task. The primary focus of this role will be to create, edit, and schedule emails, as well as update copy and content across websites, landing pages, and blogs.
Duties include:
- Creating, editing, and deploying emails in HubSpot
- Updating text and content on WordPress websites, landing pages, and blogs
- Maintaining and adhering to an email and content calendar
- Executing assigned SEO optimization deliverables including updating meta descriptions, title tags, alt tags, and more
- Reviewing and editing existing or provided copy for spelling, grammar, tone, and accuracy
- Researching competitors and staying on top of email marketing trends
- Coordinating and following up with others to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and precise manner
- Assisting with writing and editing copy for multiple mediums including emails, landing pages, website, and blogs as needed
- Brainstorming creative ideas and contributing to a collaborative team culture
- Participating in special projects and performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Hands-on experience with WordPress (or comparable) CMS
- Experience with HubSpot email marketing preferable
- Familiarity with SEO optimized content
- Excellent organizational skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple assignments, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills
- 6+ months of experience editing or writing content for emails, websites, social media posts, and/or blogs
- Works well independently and with a team
- Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment

Work Environment
This job operates in a hybrid environment. AIFS offers a 35-hour work week during the business hours of 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate is expected to be in the Stamford, Connecticut office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Salary:
$50,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience.
