Who We Are Looking For“CDO Data Initiatives – Product Manager” is a role that reports to the Head of Enterprise Data within the Chief Data Office. This role is responsible for product management of enterprise data initiatives.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Product Strategy and Vision
- Define the product vision and strategy for data-centric products.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business value.
- Align product strategy with overall business goals and objectives.
- Data Product Development
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to develop data products (e.g., data platforms, algorithms, and models).
- Prioritize features and requirements based on user needs, market demands, and business value.
- Ensure data products are scalable, reliable, and aligned with user expectations.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable product specifications.
- Communicate the progress, risks, and impact of data products to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of data products, from concept through launch and iteration.
- Manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans to ensure timely delivery.
- Gather and analyze user feedback and data usage metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product adoption.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- User Experience and Interface Design
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for data products.
- Ensure that data visualizations and dashboards meet user needs and facilitate effective decision-making.
- Data Governance and Quality
- Establish and maintain data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with data stewards to define and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and improve data quality to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely data for decision-making.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Use data analytics and insights to inform product decisions and strategy.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
- Ensure that the organization effectively uses data to drive business outcomes.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Drive innovation in data products by exploring new data sources, tools, and methodologies.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the value and impact of data products.
- Encourage a culture of experimentation and learning within the product team.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs related to data products.
- Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate the product offering based on data insights.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and data-related trends that could impact the product.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a Data Leadership role

Salary Range
$135,000 – $210,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
