Job Overview
RoomReady is looking to expand its operations team with the addition of a Regional Operations Director. The Regional Operations Director is primarily responsible for the effective and efficient planning and execution of the company’s warehousing, inventory management, solution assembly, field installation operations, and employees thereof. Additionally, will ensure successful solution delivery, end user satisfaction, project profitability as well as internal and external communication. This position will cover company operational activities in the east region.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with executive leadership to balance regional needs with overall company financial objectives.
- Manage Audio-Visual projects.
- Provide annual, end-of-year financial and operational performance analysis to the COO, and projections for the upcoming year in areas including but not limited to staffing needs, training expenses, and fixed assets.
- Manage staffing hours to ensure appropriate staffing levels and appropriate management of overtime.
- Provide training for field operation staff to develop and maintain the skills necessary to provide high-quality installations, integration, and demonstration support for solutions the company promotes.
- Provide leadership and direction to Field Operations and Project Management staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
As a Regional Operations Director, the ideal candidate will need excellent communication and customer service skills combined with the required qualifications below:
- Must have a thorough understanding of the installation and deployment process for corporate AV systems.
- Must possess managerial, business and financial planning, and technical skills.
- Computer literacy skills to effectively use standardized company software programs.
- Aptitude and desire to learn and use new technologies as they are introduced to the company.
- Must be able to work independently and make management decisions within the scope of policies, procedures and budgets of the Company.
- Must be solution-focused and results-driven.
- Customer and employee relation skills will have direct results on the success of this position.
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays as required by the job.
Education and Experience
- Educational and experience background should consist of management, business, and formal technical training or experience.
- Experience managing teams of 10 or more.
- Technology implementation or construction management experience required with AV installation.
- Ability to effectively train others on work standards and processes.
- Preferred OSHA 30 or ability to achieve within six (6) months of hire.

Compensation & Benefits
The hiring range is between $125,000-$175,000 (depending on qualifications) per year depending on experience and location. The ideal candidate will be within 1 hour commute of Boston, MA. A comprehensive benefits package includes low-cost/or free employee medical, employer fully paid dental, and vision, along with a 401(k) option. Paid time off and paid holidays.
Candidates must be located on or around the Eastern region of the US, ideally within 1 hour commute of Boston, MA. This will be a remote role, but be willing to travel overnight.
