This position is located in Washington, DC and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
Responsibilities- Develop automated data infrastructure: Work with software engineering and product teams to understand tracking needs and ensure that tracking is correctly implemented into our products. Develop automated scripts using SQL or Python to transform raw source data into datasets for use by analysts across the company.
- Design, build, and maintain our BI solutions: Design and develop BI solutions that meet the needs of our product, marketing, and sales teams. This includes working with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing data models, and developing reports and dashboards.
- Work with our product, marketing, and sales teams to help them access and analyze data: Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide them with the tools and resources they need to access and analyze data. This includes providing training on BI tools and developing data-driven solutions to business problems.
- Develop and implement data quality procedures: Develop and implement procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our data. This includes developing data validation rules, performing data audits, and resolving data discrepancies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot our BI solutions: Monitor BI solutions to ensure they are running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise. This includes performing regular backups, monitoring performance metrics, and investigating and resolving errors.
Basic Qualifications And Skills- Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, business intelligence, and data warehousing.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and data warehouse solutions such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills- Experience with Google Analytics.
- Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience working with large consumer datasets to drive insights.
- Background in the residential or commercial real estate industry.
